Some winter break inspiration…

Families – I know our winter break is long. If you are looking for some ideas for activities to do with your child over break, here are some suggestions for well-loved activities from our room!

Color mixing:

That’s a link describing the activity we did recently with food coloring, milk, and dish soap. It’s a LOT of fun.

Making “slime” that drips and slides using corn starch and water. Add some food coloring for a color mixing activity!

Freeze colored water in ice cube trays, then allow your child to combine different colors. Let them melt and see what colors you have made!

An awesome recipe for homemade playdough. Leave out the Jello if you don’t have any, or substitute food coloring. The Jello does make it smell great, though.
